Description: With an enviable athleticism, the Handstand Sculpture is forged from aluminum that has a striated surface to bring added interest to the sizable piece of art.
The design of this piece has all of the hallmarks of great talent: it shows in the flatness of the hands, the position of the head, the arc of the back, and the graceful pointing of the feet. A human torso at its most fit has been captured just so. We also offer the Handstand in a smaller size.
Aluminum works outdoors and is not prone to rust, but has a high affinity to oxygen and will eventually oxidize. This develops a hardened white-colored coating across the surface of the metal, infusing your piece with authentic natural beauty and additional protection. Depending on conditions, this process occurs between 1-12 months of outdoor exposure.
