OUR SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

We Actively Ship Across Canada & The United States

At Shop Deborah L Kerbel, we believe in creating a stress-free shopping experience for our customers. That's why we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders across North America with our standard shipping option (territories and other remote regions/locations are excluded).

**Please note that any potential duty/import charges are not included for US Residents, and responsible for the purchaser to pay for - for products going to the US from Canada ONLY. Duty/import charges do NOT apply to Canadian Residents.

If the product is already in one of our US warehouses (as we have a few warehouses located in the US) and you are a US Resident, duty/import charges do not apply as the product is not crossing the Canadian border. 

Shipping Information

We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or military APOs.

COURIER SHIPPING:

AVAILABLE ACROSS CANADA & US

All our products are shipped or couriered via our trusted carriers. Orders are typically shipped and delivered Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm, however on special request we might be able to accommodate other times as well.

DELIVERY:

Option 1 Default at Checkout: Regular Delivery

  • This includes delivery of items into main floor or condo/building main lobby area (if courier) or curbside if freight.
  • Set-up and packaging removal is not included
  • If to a house it is curbside only (the drivers will not enter the home unless previously arranged and approved) 

Option 2: White-Glove Delivery (Call for Pricing)

This includes the following:

  • Delivery of items into the room (s) of choice
  • Complete set-up of furniture
  • Packaging removal and disposal (only if you are certain you do not want to return the item as all returns must be in original packaging)

Once your order is ready for delivery, we will contact you regarding an estimated delivery date & timeframe and/or a tracking number will be forwarded to the email provided in your order. 

PRIOR TO DELIVERY

Prior to placing an order with us, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the measurement of any entryways and/or rooms to ensure that the furniture will fit. All items will still be subject to Deborah L Kerbel Inc. return policy if the item(s) do not fit. If items need to be scheduled for re-delivery, a delivery fee and potential holding fee at the freight depot terminal will be charged.

UPON DELIVERY

Upon delivery, there will be no alterations to any doors, trims, moldings or light fixtures to accommodate passage of the products. Should the merchandise not fit through the passage, we refer you and will be guided by our return policy. 

When your order arrives, please inspect the product carefully. We’ll be glad to resolve any issues as soon as possible. However, you do have up to 48 hours after delivery to let us know of any concerns. 

If by chance the item(s) arrive damaged, it is a requirement for you to take pictures of the item that has arrived in the box AND take pictures of the outside and inside packaging of the box (very important to the return process and approval of the return ) as well showing the damages of the item. Forward these pictures to deborah@deborahLkerbel.com, so that we can ensure you get a replacement sent.

DELIVERY PROCEDURES

Many of the items will be delivered ready-to-assemble. Delivery personnel will not inspect, unpack or assemble products nor remove debris. Old items will not be moved or disposed of. The delivery personnel will deliver to the lobby (or curbside) of an apartment building or curbside to a house. The customer must allow and ensure safe access to the site for the delivery personnel and transportation vehicle (including an appropriate parking area). All obstacles and walkways must be cleared before delivery. The responsibility is incumbent on the customer to measure all doorways, hallways and stairwells. 

MODIFYING/RESCHEDULING/CANCELLING YOUR DELIVERY

Should you be unavailable for the scheduled delivery, another delivery fee may be charged for rescheduling or cancelling the order once the order has shipped and/or while the merchandise is in transit.

Should you opt to return an item or decline to accept a shipment subsequent to its dispatch, it is imperative to note that you shall bear the onus of covering the shipping expenses incurred for the initial delivery to you, in addition to the return shipping costs and restocking fees, unless expressly approved by us beforehand.

In the event of a missed scheduled delivery date or time, it is important to highlight that freight carriers may levy daily holding charges alongside rescheduling fees, both of which shall be deemed as your responsibility in terms of cost coverage.
