Grand, plush and button-tufted, the Louisa Upholstered Bed is an iconic centerpiece for any master suite. Inspired by the great mansions of America's Gilded Age, the side rails, shaped footboard and swirled, shaped outline of the dramatic headboard are crafted of Poplar and Hardwood Solids and Quartered Oak Veneers. The serene and versatile finish, Heathered Lamswool, beautifully melds grey and brown tones. The headboard is upholstered in Lenox Taupe. Featuring designs inspired by America's great "Mansions of the Gilded Age", Louisa retains the charm and authenticity of that era, but is scaled for today's homes, delivering the elegant informal look that has become the American ideal. Combined with finishes that meld brown and grey tones, these elements help Louisa redefine traditional styling.

Material: Quartered Oak Veneers with Fabric

Finish: Heathered Lambswool: a mid-tone brownish gray. Distressing includes rasping, hand chiseling, rock distressing, cow tailing, spattering and water marks.

Fabric 1: Lenox Taupe; 100% Polyester; Cleaning Code WS (Clean water-based Stains with water-based cleaning agent, clean oil-based Stains with Solvent cleaner)

Finish Construction: This manufacturer utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.

Frame Construction: This manufacturer uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
