Chamcha Pattern Wall Tile

The Chamcha Pattern Wall Tile is made of irregular end-cuts of chamcha wood that have been artistically placed by hand onto a base. Providing the sculptural piece with added interest are the differing heights of the pieces of wood that extend forward, and the alterations in the direction of the wood grains, the angles, and the cuts. Though the piece was created with painstaking precision that only the most talented craftspeople can achieve, it looks organically happenstance. Also bringing the piece a feel of authenticity is the fact that the wood is reclaimed so the natural characteristics of the material’s life before becoming art adds tremendous patina. This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. Color and texture in wood will vary and natural holes and subtle openings add unique character to your piece. Wood "breathes" and it is normal for cracks to present themselves over time. This is not considered a defect.
